The Jenkins Twp. Senior Citizens Organization has two events planned in one night and are urging local senior residents to join them for a night of business and fun.

The organization is hosting its May meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 9. The meeting will be held at the Jenkins Twp. Hose Company, 2 Second St., Jenkins.

This meeting will also double as the organization’s annual anniversary dinner. Hostesses for the evening will be Barbara Clark, Eileen Burns and Jean Mudlock.

Invitations are extended to all local senior citizens from Jenkins Twp. and all the surrounding townships, to come out, and enjoy a delightful night of food and refreshments.

Meetings for the senior citizens organization are held once a month on the third Tuesday, with some exceptions.
