Jenkins Township Public Works Department is the backbone of our community. The Department maintains roads when it snows, keep our community’s roads pothole free and make sure the neighborhood parks are spotless. In addition, Public Works is responsible for weekly yard waste collection and recycling.

SNOW PLOWING: Jenkins Township attempts to plow and salt all 14.85 miles of Township roads. We would appreciate your patience as we are doing our best to keep our roads safe and passable. If you live on a street plowed by PennDot such as Main St, E. Saylor Ave, River Rd, Yatesville Rd, Thompson St, Westminster Rd, Pittston Bypass, Pittston Ave, PA Hwy 315, Eighth St Bridge, and a portion of Old Boston Rd. and are not happy with their performance please call 1-800-FIX ROAD or 1-800-349-7623.
